How does Beanwired choose which coffees to alert me about?
Beanwired compares new drops against your preferences, watchlist, price caps, and alert feedback. A strong match gets a reason line. A likely miss stays quiet.
How does Beanwired make money? Will it stay independent?
The site is free. The one paid thing is saved alerts, $3/mo. You can pay more if you want, but it's a tip, not more features, and it mostly keeps the lights on. (An optional $2 SMS add-on puts those same alerts on your phone.) Any roaster analytics use aggregate counts only. No paid placement in alerts, no sponsored listings, no affiliate agenda.
Why isn't my favorite roaster listed?
Some shops are not technically monitorable, some do not sell roasted coffee online, and some may opt out. Send suggestions to support@beanwired.com.
Are the prices accurate?
Beanwired stores the price seen in the shop's public catalog. Currency, bag size, taxes, shipping, subscriptions, and sale timing can make checkout look different. The linked product page is the source of truth.
Can I export my data and delete my account?
Yes. Sign in, open Account, then Privacy and account. Export gives you JSON. Delete removes account data and keeps only records that payment or abuse-prevention rules require.
What if alerts get overwhelming?
Pause for 7, 14, or 30 days from Account. You can also turn digests off, lower frequency, or mark an alert as too noisy.
Do you sell my data?
No. Beanwired does not sell user lists, individual taste profiles, or click histories. The privacy policy names the vendors needed to run email, SMS, billing, hosting, and catalog assistance.
How does Beanwired help me decide?
The live radar shows what changed, retailer supply shows where the coffee is still available, and your preferences explain why a drop fits you.
Are you affiliated with any shop?
No. Beanwired links back to shops and honors opt-outs, but it is not endorsed by the roasters or retailers it watches.
